Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a powerful form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio (at around 85 degrees) which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. Baron Baptiste, whose style of power vinyasa flow inspired the style we practice at STUDIO B, describes this practice as “the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.” This style of yoga is designed for all levels and can be modified depending on a students needs and abilities.

Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body -- the connective tissues, ligaments, joints and the deep fascia networks of the body -- rather than the muscles. The postures are held for longer periods of time, allowing these tissues to become longer & stronger . Energetically, Yin Yoga improves the energy flow to the organs which are just as important as the muscles for overall health and wellness.
